Hopefully, it will warm up here next week. It has been FREEZING cold here the last few days. About 40 east of here they got 4+ inches of snow over the last few days.
We could learn a lot from crayons... Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names, and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box. I don't know who said this but I liked it!

:th_omg: Sounds like the crazy weather here, 70 degrees one day and a low of 23 degrees the next. Where the heck is Spring?
I never met a shrimp that I didn't like.

Just around the corner, the forecast is cold winds sweeping throught the mid-states in the next couple of days so stay warm.

It is stable here in CA, 70's and sunny most days. I would like to see some rain.

Oh Happy Day!!!

They are here, everone alive and kicking. I have aclimated them and they started eating the minute I put them in the tank. Right to the bottom and started picking around for food. I even got a couple MTS so maybe they will multiply a littel.

I do have a question about the plants sent with the shrimp. I know the duckweed and Java fern but there was a third plant I don't know. Can you tell me what that was? Nice tight spaghetti roots and long single fronds, no stem. Thanks in advance if you can tell me.

And mega thanks for the little beauties. They are just to sweet. And the older (young adult?) are the most beautiful blue. The smaller run from no color in the youngest right up the saturation scale to perfect Blue Pearl. Thank you.

This last contest was great not only was there a fun drawing for those who entered, but there were a lot of articles submitted and shared with all! There may be more in the future, keep your eyes open for a post ;).
